The Smokey Newfield Project decided that starting a band was a cheaper way to deal with their mid-life crises than therapy or buying convertibles.  After joining forces in 2011 (thanks to their former keyboardist, Denise Puisto), SNP burst onto the local music scene in 2013 playing farmers' markets, private parties, local bars, restaurants, and fundraisers.  SNP is known for their rich vocal harmonies and varied instrumentation featuring Bill Valliere, aka Smokey Newfield, on guitar, Cathy Cameron-Muscente on guitar and bass, Tom Chadwick on drums and Laura Chadwick on keyboard/melodica, violin, bass, mandolin and guitar.  They cover an eclectic mix of folk rock, classic rock, country, pop and anything else that tickles their musical sensibilities.
